Bio

Before coming to New Haven, Kyungtae studied in New York and Berlin. He has written about the theory of blood circulation in Gryphius’ Carolus Stuardus and about the instantiation of the myth of harmonia linguarum in Romantic philhellenic thought. He is currently working on early Enlightenment theories of satire.
