The seminar discussion is based on Professor Zumbusch’s paper “The Life of Forms” (see below).

In the paper, Professor Zumbusch refers to essays by Henri Focillon, Aby Warburg, and Walter Benjamin. These essays are also provided here (in the Focillon excerpt see in particular p. 35-41).
