• Bertolt Brecht: Baal and Das Badener Lehrstück vom Einverständnis (both texts are available as Suhrkamp Taschenbuch)
• Antonin Artaud: Le théâtre et son double, chapters „Le théâtre et la peste“ and „La mise en scène et la métaphysique“ (Oeuvres complètes IV, Paris: Gallimard, 1978, or the latest edition).

Of course, you can have an English or German translation on the side.
