Students who would like to enroll in a German class are required to take the departmental placement test, except if they are absolute beginners or have already take a German class at Yale. This test will help determine which German class you should take.
The German placement examination will be administered online from July 15 2016 through August 15 2016. You can access the test through this link at that time: Once prompted, enter your Yale NetID and password.
