Students who would like to enroll in a German class are required to take the departmental placement test, except if they are absolute beginners or have already take a German class at Yale. This test will help determine which German class you should take.
The German placement examination will be administered online from July 1 through August 15. To learn more about the German Placement test and to begin the test, click here (http://cls.yale.edu/german-placement).
