Florentine Emmelot
Florentine Emmelot (she/they) is a doctoral candidate at the Humboldt University of Berlin and an Associated Researcher at the Leibniz Center for Literary and Cultural Research in Berlin. She is currently working on a dissertation on the relationship between the philosophy of Hans Blumenberg and the psychoanalytic theories of Sigmund Freud, Sándor Ferenczi, and Melanie Klein. They will be joining Yale’s German Department as a Visiting Assistant in Research from February to December 2026.
