Who should take the placement test?
All students with previous study of German who intend to study German at Yale, except if they are absolute beginners or have already take a German class at Yale. This test will help determine which German class you should take.
When is the exam offered?
The German placement examination will be administered online on an ongoing basis.
Where can I find exam procedure instructions?
Instructions can be found at the Center for Language Study Website.
Where will the results be posted, and when?
Results shown immediately upon completion of exam
